120g bread crumbs
80g smoked bacon
40g pig fat
1 deciliter milk
1 table spoon parsley
pinch of salt
1. Dice bacon and onions.
Heat up fat and roast bacon.
2. Heat up milk.
Whisk eggs and add them to bread crumbs.
Add hot milk, parsley, bacon and onions.
Let it rest for ten minutes.
3. Heat up salted water.
Form dumplings (you achieve best results if your hands are wet).
Add dumplings to boiling water and let them simmer at 190°C.
4. Take dumplings out and add them to soup.
Serve with parsley.
